Tracking and understanding your web traffic plays a crucial role in the success of your business. So how do you get started?

1 - Sign into the Google Analytics Homepage

2 - Create a new Google Analytics account

3 - Fill in the Google Analytics Form

4 - Include the Google Analytics tag in your Shopify store

Copy your Google Analytics tag and login to your Shopify dashboard. Now click on “Online Store” and navigate to Preferences.

Now paste in the code and click on “Save”.

5 - Congratulations you have successfully installed Google Analytics for your Shopify store.

Now, whenever you want to learn about your store’s web traffic, head over to the Google Analytics homepage and login. It might take up to 24 hours for traffic data to become available.
